Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026. By using CalculateZScore you agree to these terms.
The service
CalculateZScore provides free educational statistics calculators and explanations. The tools are offered as-is, free of charge, with no account required. We may update, change, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice.
Educational use — not professional advice
Everything on this site is for learning and illustration. It is not medical, financial, legal, or any other form of professional advice:
- The pediatric and BMI calculators demonstrate the arithmetic behind growth charts. They do not assess any child's health. Health questions belong with a qualified clinician.
- Statistical results depend on correct inputs and on assumptions (such as approximate normality) that we cannot verify for you. Always sanity-check results before relying on them.
- If a decision has real consequences — a grade, a diagnosis, a business call — verify the numbers independently with appropriate tools or professionals.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site: no attempting to disrupt it, no scraping it aggressively enough to degrade service for others, no misrepresenting our content as your own work without attribution, and no using the site for anything unlawful. The content and design of CalculateZScore are our work; you may link to our pages and quote brief excerpts with credit, but please do not republish entire pages.
No warranties
We work hard to keep every calculator accurate — the methods are documented on our About page — but we cannot promise the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Browsers differ, inputs can be mistyped, and statistics always involves judgment. Use the tools thoughtfully.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, CalculateZScore is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site — including decisions made based on calculator outputs. If you do not accept this, please do not use the site.
Third-party links
We link to a few authoritative external sources (such as Wikipedia, the WHO, and the CDC) where they help explain a concept. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control. A link is a reference, not an endorsement of everything on the linked site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date will change and the new version will appear on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
